Personal Support Workers

Full-time/Part-time/Relief

Good Shepherd is seeking experienced Personal Support Workers for our Transition Beds Program. This program provides brief-stay residential care in a community setting to marginalized individuals being discharged from hospital who require ongoing medical care and personal support services to support recovery and re-integration into the community. We are seeking Personal Support Worker professionals interested in working in a fast-paced setting responding to the needs of people impacted by poverty, homelessness, mental health issues and substance use. Successful candidates will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that facilitates improved health status and timely, effective discharge to community for service users.

The successful candidates must be available to work a schedule that includes 3 rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights).

These position involves shift work.
