Job Summary
• Assist press operators, as needed, to perform job duties as required.
General Description and Responsibilities
• Review job tickets submitted for a job and report any discrepancies or issues that could affect quality or end-result.
• Gather necessary materials required for the job to run, including stocks, inks, and tooling.
• Prepare set-up for job by installing plates, mounting magnetic dies, etc.
• Work with the main Press Operator to ensure press is clean and in good working condition for the next shift.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on-press; report any issues directly to the Production Coordinator so they can be addressed in a timely manner.
• Ensure work area is clean and free of debris.
• Provide suggestions and possible solutions to help Artcraft find more effective production methods.
• Support Quality process and hold materials not suitable for jobs.
• Perform Die-Strike tests and affix Roll Identification Labels on printed press rolls.
