Crane Truck Driver (Knuckle Boom Operator)

At Oakridge Landscape Contractors, great landscapes are built with skilled people and reliable equipment. As we continue to grow across Southern Ontario, we’re looking for an experienced Crane Truck Driver with knuckle boom experience to join our Hamilton operations team.

What the Role Looks Like: 
This is a hands-on role responsible for safely transporting and unloading landscape materials and equipment using a crane truck with knuckle boom capabilities across multiple job sites.

What You’ll Do: 
  • Operate crane trucks equipped with knuckle boom systems safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Ensure proper securement of loads and safe crane operation practices.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and landscape crews to coordinate deliveries.
  • Assist with additional site duties when required.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Previous experience operating knuckle boom/crane trucks is must.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission .
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods when needed.
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude.
