Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Roofing Shingler
Duties include: work on roofs to replace shingles and install all roofing materials
Wage: $30-$40/hour
Hours / Week: Approx. 30-40 hours per week (weather dependent)
Days & Hours of Work: Typically Monday – Friday; Start time: 6:30am (meet at the shop); Approx. End time: 3:30-4pm (depending on the job); Occasional Saturdays may be required due to weather conditions during the week
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Must have your own reliable transportation to and from the shop address
- Must have prior experience in this field (ideally 2-3 years)
- Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting as well as be on your feet all day – this is physically demanding work!
- Must be reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Working at heights and fall safety training certificates required (or must be able to obtain these certificates before starting work)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (e.g. hot sunny days in the summer)
- Good customer service skills; be respectful/polite to customers and answer their questions
