Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess the skills necessary to contribute to various landscaping projects. This role involves physical labour, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete landscaping tasks.
Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper water distribution.
Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
Assist in the installation of irrigation systems as needed.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently and safely.

Wage: $19 – $25 per hour, depending on experience

Days & Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts. Some Saturdays required. Start time is between 7-8am.

Requirements & Prerequisites

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is required (ideally 1 year)
Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping is required.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is beneficial.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work in all landscaping activities.
