Job Description

*this is a live-in position*

Hours are Mon-Fri 9-5, but Resident Managers are expected to be “on call” at all times as emergencies can happen at 3am, Saturday afternoon, Christmas day etc. Arrangements for coverage are possible with the counterpart position or RM team next door.

Compensation offered depends on experience: Salary between 25-35K, plus living accommodations. Since this is a live-in position, the monthly cost of their unit is included as part of the total compensation package.

Duties include:

  • Collect rent, follow up on paperwork, tenant contact, dispatch maintenance work to counterpart, maintain files/paperwork for annual/monthly inspections/fire/elevator etc.
  • Distribute prepared paperwork/notices/correspondence. Show vacant units to prospective tenants, assist with applications, leases and key distribution.
  • Assist maintenance counterpart on small tasks/cleaning prep of vacant units
  • Daily building walk to note issues/concerns
  • Daily report of activities for all site staff
  • Oversee daily cleaners
  • Assign/maintain/organize parking
  • Other duties as per management

Requirements & Prerequisites

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Yardi would be an asset
  • Great organizational skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to work well with individuals from various backgrounds/demographics/cultures etc.
