Mechanical Engineering Technologist
Job Description
Jayne Industries is hiring a full time Mechanical Engineering Technologist Duties: - Design and develop fabrication components using Autodesk Inventor. - Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and mechanical designs. - Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative solutions for mechanical engineering projects. - Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and performance of mechanical designs. - Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the functionality and safety of mechanical systems. - Prepare technical documentation, including specifications. - Collaborate with manufacturing/fabrication teams to ensure the successful build and assembly of mechanical components. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements & Prerequisites
Qualifications:
– Graduate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
– Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
– Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor an asset.
– Experience in drafting and creating detailed 2D and 3D models.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– MS office suite experience.
– Project planning and management experience.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
