Job Description

• Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
• Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (2 paid breaks, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch).
• Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental, and insurance after probation.
• Wage: $21 – $24/hour depending on experience.

• Inspect for damages, quality compliance and quantity
• Receive goods as per quality control report
• Physically count materials against received packing slips
• Measure materials to confirm received material was to specifications
• Liaise with the Receiving Coordinator as required to update receipt of materials in the ERP system
• Report all damaged and/or short shipments to Receiving Manager
• Rebundle/repack packaging opened for quality condition, measurement and count
• Reattach packing slip to product
• Experienced in moving inventory with motorized pallet jack (walkie) as required
• Overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the Receiving area
• Work in a safe manner, consistent with our policies and procedures by identifying, reporting, and/or correcting unsafe conditions
• Participate in actively improving inventory accuracy
• Provide additional backup support for Receiving department and assist with other administrative functions as required
• Other duties as assigned

• This position may be exposed to elements such as intermittent noise, dust, heat, and cold
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seatbelt, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks
• Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
