Lawn Cutting Technician - Lead Hand
Job Description
Residential lawn cutting
- Lawn cutting, line trimming and power blowing
- Supervision of 1-2 crew members
- Overseeing quality of work
- Communicating with customers
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Basic equipment maintenance
- Spring and fall clean ups: removal of leaves and debris from lawns and gardens, soil/mulch top ups
- Residential snow removal in the winter (optional)
$23.50-$25.00/ hour based on experience

Requirements & Prerequisites
Required work experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in landscape maintenance and lawn cutting
- Valid G class drivers license with clean abstract
- Experience towing a landscape trailer
Education
- High school diploma required
- College/University/Apprenticeship/Landscape Ontario certifications in Horticulture an asset
Requirements
- Team player, attention to detail, reliable and punctual, great communication skills, customer service oriented
- Ability to supervise 1-2 crew members while completing own maintenance tasks
- Able to use a smartphone for logging hours, job notes, etc.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Own steel toe work boots in good condition
