Job Description

This job contains equal parts customer service and salon maintenance/cleaning. At times it can be physically demanding and emotionally draining. Business standards are high, and the employer has an extreme focus on education. The employer is looking for someone with passion for this industry, that loves working with the public and who is also a self-starter.

Ideal candidates must be physically capable of keeping up with the demands of the spa. For instance, every large piece of equipment is thoroughly sanitized after each use and the salon is constantly kept clean from the floor up. Tasks include tanning bed-sanitizing, laundry, and cleaning of the floor and washroom facilities. No person is exempt from these tasks. Providing excellent customer service and encouraging product sales are also key components of this position.

You are the first point of contact for customers and act as the face of the company. Successful candidates must have the following qualities:

• Willing and able to confidently meet the energy of each customer and offer a genuine smile.
• Always maintains a professional personal appearance and hygiene.
• Must be patient, trustworthy, respectful, and kind.

Starting wages are determined by existing qualifications, experience, and how quickly someone can learn – ranging between $17.50 – $25/hour
