Our Client in Burlington, (Walkers Line and QEW) is a leader in the manufacturing & distribution of Expanded Metal Products throughout North America. They are currently seeking to hire multiple candidates for both the day and afternoon shifts.

Job Description:

• Helping the machine operator with Brake press, stamping steel parts
• Feed steel blanks through the steel expander
• Cut expanded steel with the shear machine
• Flatten expanded steel with the flattening mill
• May be required to operate a punch press, brake press or saw
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs (Team lifts of large pieces of steel)

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift- Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
• Afternoon shift- Monday to Thursday from 3pm-1am (4 days/week, 10HR shifts)

Required Qualifications:

• Not bus accessible, own vehicle is required
• Experience with machine operation is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Clean criminal background
• Must have 1 year experience as a general labourer
• Must have 2 references from most recent employers
