Job Description

Use your passion for service to create a positive impact in the Hamilton Community! Sodexo Live! is excited to announce a number of job opportunities to work at the 2021 Grey Cup.

Concession Cashier:

  • Provide high quality service to customers
  • Display knowledge of food menus
  • Listen and respond to customer concerns and questions
  • Ensure that the concession area is clean and organized at all times
  • Quickly process transactions for guests

Concession Runner:

  • Greet customers
  • Assemble customer orders in a timely fashion
  • Maintain a clean work space

Bartender/Server

  • Provide high quality service to customers
  • Process credit, debit and gift card transactions following appropriate procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
  • Assist with inventory and inventory control
  • Mix and serve drinks in a timely manner
  • Carry out all tasks with attention to detail

Concession Cook:

  • Prepare all menu items as per customer request
  • Pre-prep all menu items
  • Ensure high quality food is delivered to servers
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team
  • Carry out all duties as assigned by the head cook

Pizza Maker

  • Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings
  • Cleaning workstation before and after pizza preparation
  • Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use
  • Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly
  • Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift

Beverage Hawker

  • Carry an average of 48 tallboys of beer
  • Works well independently
  • Strong skills for providing guest service with keen ability to connect easily with customers
  • Able to be in extreme temperature fluctuation and around excessive noise

Requirements & Prerequisites

-18 years of age or older
-Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
-Basic people skills
-You must have, or be willing to obtain a Serve Smart Certificate
-Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
-Work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to stay in one place for a period of time and stay focused
-Ability to follow directions
-Willing to work in ALL weather conditions
-Able to lift up to 20lbs
