The Custodian position is integral to the success of the HBSPCA, an animal welfare organization with considerable numbers of people on site every day. The Custodian is committed to a clean and welcoming environment for the safety of public, staff, volunteers, and the animals. This position will appeal to people with the following attributes:

Responsibilities:

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include but not limited to cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, administration offices etc.
• Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Ensures sufficient supplies in rest rooms, meeting rooms, lunchrooms.
• Monitors cleaning supply inventory and submit ordering requests as needed.
