Our client located in Hamilton is a full line electrical distributor which provides its customers with high quality electrical products, exceptional customer service, and possess the know-how to be a dependable source for people in the professional trades. Our client is currently looking to add a Delivery Driver with a full G license to their growing team.
Overview of Opportunity
This position has you mainly responsible for delivering product to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will be driving an Extended Van. Successful candidates will also have great personal skills as they will be representing our client directly when delivering products.
Here Is What You Will Be Doing:
· Delivering electronic cables and wires to various construction sites
· Lifting boxes up to 50 lbs
· Document, and review the summary list
· Complete daily safety checklist on vehicle to ensure that vehicle is in a good working state
· Build relationships with clients, and customers
· Abide by all health and safety protocols
Requirements & Prerequisites
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid G license with a clean drivers abstract
- Minimum 1 year of previous delivery driving experience
- Must be able to read and write effectively
- High- School Diploma
- Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse would be considered an asset
