eSafe Cleaning currently does a variety of cleaning and disinfecting contracts with companies such as Metrolinx and the Department of Defense, this specific opportunity will give you the opportunity to be part of a growing company with passionate colleagues.

eSafe Cleaning is urgently hiring for a 6:00pm – 9:00pm evening shift for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Salary: $15.00- $16.00

Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm

Weekly Hours: 6- 15 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Senior Project Manager the Custodial Worker position is responsible for taking care of the cleanliness of the facility. You will carry out various cleaning and maintenance duties. Your main goal is to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition. If you enjoy an active and fast paced environment, then this is the position for you !

• Clean production equipment

• Sanitation of touch surfaces (tables, doorknobs, handles, punch clocks etc.)

• Sweep and mop floors (production area, warehouse, and common areas)

• Maintain break rooms and office areas (cleaning of rooms and equipment, etc.);

• Maintain bathrooms (refill paper and soap; cleaning, counters, sinks, toilets, etc.)

• Maintain the supply of chemicals (cleaning products, disinfectant, etc)

• In the winter, clean snow from walkways and spread salt to de-ice area

• Empty garbage and recycling

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of Janitorial/Sanitation experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is preferred

• Strong English written and oral communication skills

• Well developed attention to detail skills

• Ability to take direction/ coachable

• Must have basic technical skills (tablet onsite) and a working cell phone with data

• Reliable with a strong work ethic and professional attitude

• Must be able to walk and remain on your feet for long periods of time

• Steel toe boots (Boots must have Green triangle with CSA symbol)
• Valid Ontario Drivers License (site is not accessible by transit)
