We are currently seeking a: Temporary Full Time Therapeutic Recreationist to join our growing and dynamic team!

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans, implements and evaluates age-appropriate therapeutic, social, physical, emotional and intellectual recreation and leisure opportunities which incorporate the needs and preferences of the Residents through individual, small group and large group intervention


Requirements & Prerequisites

Education:

· College diploma in Recreation Leadership or University degree in Recreation and leisure studies.

· Knowledge in Gerontology, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

 

Additional Requirements

· Demonstrated experience in a long-term care facility is an asset.

· Class G drivers license is required.

· CPR Certified
