Full Time Program Assistant
(32 Hours a week)
The successful candidate will help enhance the dignity and quality of life of our clients, visitors and co-workers by providing efficient, courteous and quality services. This position will involve the coordination of meetings, preparation of documents such as letters, filing, data entry, agenda’s and meeting minutes.
The incumbent must be a highly organized and efficient multi-tasker who is comfortable taking initiative and working with a high degree of autonomy in a very challenging, values-based environment. A demonstrated commitment to the values of hospitality, responsibility, quality, adaptability, availability and dignity.
Qualifications:
This position will be of interest to individuals with a minimum of 2 years administrative assistant experience. Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license. Fluency in French or an additional language is considered an asset. A motivated individual and team player.
Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and manage multiple priorities. Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, MS Project) are required for this position. A proven ability to maintain confidential records, manage data and prepare correspondence and reports in a timely and precise manner is essential.
