20045 - Sub-Maker/Customer Service - P/T
Job Description
- Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
- Operate cash register
- May be required to use oven to bake and/or toast bread
- Food preparation, including merchandising of food stations, and food service
- Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
- Stock shelves, refrigerators and prep stations
- Adhere to all company policy and procedures
- May perform other job duties as required
Days & Hours of Work: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays: Wed & Thurs: 4:30pm-9:00 pm during COVID, 4:30 pm-11:00pm after COVID; Sat & Sun 4:30-8:00 pm during COVID, 4:30-11:00 pm after COVID; Potential for extra hours during staff holidays.
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Fast food experience would be an asset
- Store key holder and able to work alone during their shift
- Strong customer service skills
- Food Handling Certification from City of Hamilton (must be booked shortly after the start of employment)
- Training will be provided on how to operate cash as well as meat slicer
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Flexible; evening and weekend work will be required
